Resumen
Interesante estudio en que se analizan detalladamente los rasgos melódicos comunes al texto profano del trovador gallego y al texto religioso del rey Sabio. Explica por varias razones este common Background, y en primer lugar recuerda que Alfonso X «... in his youth wrote Galicien love poems...» y que el mismo M. Codax «... may have visited the court of Alfonso's father...» (p. 199)
